Our Story
We moved to the Texas Hill Country in 2007 to begin EarthWise Farms. Our
focus was to live a more sustainable lifestyle by growing our own vegetables
and herbs, raise chickens and goats and even a cow! This has proved to be
quite a learning experience with a lot of trial and error and thankfully much
humor along the way. We are comfortable in the knowledge that we will
ALWAYS be learning and we are willing to share our knowledge with others.
Now in 2013 the building of our vision continues as all things worth doing
tend to evolve. We have now added EarthWise Herbals with a commercial
kitchen and room to conduct classes. We sell our herbal products here on the
farm, at the Dripping Springs Farmers Market and at our store, Sacred Moon
Herbs in Dripping Springs. Stop by any of these locations to meet us, learn

About the herbalist:
Tara is founder and owner of Earthwise Herbals. A therapeutic herbal
company located in beautiful Texas Hill Country. Tara's passion for herbs
came after many years in corporate America. Her search for a more fulfilling
life lead her to Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA) in Tempe, Arizona.
Tara completed a two year, 600 hour Western Herbalism Diploma instructed
by well known Southwest Herbalist JoAnn Sanchez. It was here she found her
true calling to the plant kingdom. After becoming a Certified Herbalist, Tara's
love for plants manifested into Earthwise Herbals. Earthwise Herbal is where
the magic begins. It is here she has created over a 100 different herbal
blends as tincture, tea and salve products.
